Who We Are
Founded in 1992 by three pioneers of the electricity metering world—Howard Stark, Peter Hutt, and John Moyce—Aphex Systems has innovation in its DNA. Peter and John previously worked together at the Independent Broadcasting Authority, where they invented the Oracle data information system: the world’s first teletext service and a forerunner of the World Wide Web. Howard later went on to create Stark, the leading energy data analytics company.
Today, we’re a team of energy metering experts based in Loughborough. We supply, install, and maintain energy and power monitoring systems for buildings of all sizes – from data centres and critical infrastructure to offices and mixed-use developments.
